Lately while I’ve been searching for upcoming movies, I haven’t seen anything other than The Hobbit that makes me feel like I can’t wait to see a movie. But now, I will be adding another movie and that is Return on the Killer Klowns from Outer Space. Which I assume is a sequel to the 1988 movie Killer Klowns from Outer Space, for those of you who don’t know this movie it’s a B class movie full of cheesy stuff it had not so bright teenagers, cops, aliens invading, useless adults and very bad dialogue.
The Chido Brothers, the people who made Killer Klowns from Outer Space have officially announced that they have written and will be making the sequel to this film and it will be released some where around the year 2012.
The original movie Killer Klowns from Outer Space was about aliens invading earth to use the human population as a resource for food, the only thing is that these aliens looked like evil creepy clowns and their ship was resembled a circus tent. They terrorize the people by using weapons like pop corn bombs, silly string guns and more. I know quite a lot of people who said that this movie sucked or that they’ve never seen it, it upsets me ’cause I actually enjoyed watching this movie and still do.
There isn’t much information on Return of the Killer Klowns from Outer Space but it’s been confirmed that Grant Crammer who played as the lead teenager Mike Tobacco in the original will be reprising his role. Obviously he’s older than what he was before, this time he will be helping the new teenagers facing these Killer Klowns.
One thing I really like in the original Killer Klowns from Outer Space is that the puppet FX for the alien clowns were very well done in my opinion and I liked the design for each of the clowns also. Knowing that it’s going to be released in 2012 makes me excited to see what they can do with the technology we have today. I recommend that for any of you who have not watched Killer Klowns from Out Space to watch it, really it’s a very enjoyable movie even though the dialogue is horrible.
