Recently Chris Brown appealed to the court about ending his probation on an earlier date, but his attempt was unsuccessful and has been rejected.
Chris Brown was arrested in 2009 after beating up his girlfriend at the time, Rihanna, since she suspected him of cheating on her. After that he got sentencing of probation for five years, six months of community labour and anger management classes. It’s been two years since and the judges who’ve been dealing with him during this time have all praised him.
Even though Chris has been doing great these past two years and even made up with Rihanna, he was still rejected. So he’ll have no choice but to complete his three last years of probation. George Lomeli, the Superior Court Judge in the case stated that just because he’s been doing well for the past two years doesn’t mean he deserves to have his sentence end early.
In my opinion I don’t see what’d be wrong with Chris having his sentencing shorten, two years is quite a long time and he hasn’t done anything wrong. Meanwhile, Chris Brown and Rihanna will be performing at the Grammy’s on February 12th, for the first time since his arrest.
