Daniel Radcliffe recently admitted that there are numerous scenes in the ‘Harry Potter’ series where he is drunk. “I can honestly say I never drank at work on ‘Harry Potter.’ I went into work still drunk, but I never drank at work… I can point to many scenes where I’m just gone. Dead behind the eyes,” he told the UK’s Heat magazine.
The 22-year-old has revealed that he quite drinking in August 2010 because he realized that he was living a “famous person’s lifestyle” and that was not what he wanted to live a healthy lifestyle.
“I have a very addictive personality. It was a problem,” Radcliffe continued. “I think it’s just in me. I loved the fact I suddenly could talk to people and feel so entertaining and so interesting. But after a while, you’re living under such a cloud of shame about what you’ve done and the dread of who you might see, what you might have said to them, what you might have done with them. You either have to change something or give into that shame and I wasn’t prepared to do that at 21.
Since the ‘Harry Potter’ series, Radcliffe has starred on Broadway and his new horror movie, “The Woman in Black,” came out on Friday and now is doing extremely well at the box office.
