Since the death of Steve Jobs there’s always been thought of a movie in development of his life, and there was always thought on who’d actually play him in this film. According to Variety, Ashton Kutcher will be taking on the role in an indie movie, filming is said to begin in May.
Yup, I know what you’re thinking APRIL FOOLS! Well no, this actually true. Variety thought of, “holding it until Monday for fear of readers dismissing it as a joke, but felt it was too big a scoop to risk losing” So I guess this is too legit to quit. But Sony Pictures will also be making a film adaption of Steve Jobs’ life, so you won’t have to worry about watching one with Ashton Kutcher if you’re not in favor of his acting.
But to be honest, when I saw the picture of when Steve Jobs when he was younger, I couldn’t help thinking that Andy Samberg resembles him quite a bit. Not sure how he’d do for such a role, but I wouldn’t mind, I really enjoy his work much more than Kutcher.
