We’ve already heard the announcement that there was going to be a Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition, but what we didn’t know is that there it will also be getting its own paid DLC.
Director of the game Tent Oster tweeted about the news last night; he typed that with this DLC the team will be selling us new quests and NPCs as part of this new upcoming future content for the Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition, sorry console gamers but this game will only be releasing on PC, Mac and iPad sometime this summer.
Trent tweeted “DLC=Downloadable Content, not furry earrings +3, the big guys have overcooked the term with badness. New BG storylines, New characters.”
I’m pretty excited for this game since I remember playing Baldur’s Gate when I was a very young kid maybe around the age of 5-7 and I had tons of fun with it, though most of the time I didn’t have a clue on what I was doing or what was going on and I died countless times by traps, monsters, mages, bosses and etc. but overall it was an extremely entertaining game. Being older now I find that’ll I will enjoy the game more since I will be able to understand the story and be able to play it without me getting killed so many times.
