Kylie Jenner Treats Herself To Cartier And Louis Vuitton Shopping Trip -- Too Much Money At 15?

For most of us, being 15 means counting down the days to your drivers license, movie dates with friends (chauffeured by a parent who insists on knowing every detail of the night!), stressful adjustments to high school, and curling irons that don’t quite do the job right. We also struggle with on the fritz video game consoles, chores, homework all nighters, and that pounding feeling that there’s more to life.

For the Kardashian/Jenner family, being fifteen means having a private tutor for homeschooling, flying everywhere on a private jet, and a credit card with no max. Are you jealous yet? You know what makes the jealousy even worse? Having graduated from college and being jealous of a girl who can’t even legally drive a car yet. Hashtag: low point.

Today, Kylie Jenner tweeted a shopping photo, showing a huge bag from Cartier (jewelry, FYI) sitting on a glass counter, surrounded by Louis Vuitton purses. “Treating myself for the new year,” she captioned the picture. It’s great that the girl knows quality, but I have to ask: how much is too much at 15? I mean, I am saving to treat myself to a gorgeous set of glasses from Pottery Barn, and a new laptop. This girl is unemployed–don’t you try to tell me that being a high school drop out model is employed!–a teenager, and can just go to Cartier on a whip and get something? I am truly disgusted by this!

Has being a teenager changed this much since I was one, or does Kylie live in an alternate reality in which you get whatever you want, on demand, no hassle?
