One of the very best ways for Taylor Swift to get people to forget about her love life (at least for a minute) is to redirect their attention towards one of her newest efforts. The mega-star is teaming up with Keds to encourage young women in her new Bravehearts commercial. The goal is to encourage young women to stand up and have fun, experiment and to embrace being unique.
In the video spot Taylor Swift recalls one of the biggest risks that she and her family took. She spent years dreaming of moving to Nashville and finally managed to convince her parents to make it a reality. They uprooted the family and left everything behind in Pennsylvania with the hopes that Taylor would make it in the music industry. Years later that brave risk paid off in a huge way.
Bravehearts.com is a site aimed at encouraging young women and it’s worth a look. In the commercial spot Taylor offers some great advice,
“Time to dip your toe into the deep end. Try things. Say hi already. Laugh a lot. Mess up. Apologize. Mess up again. Hug people. Take chances. Trust yourself. Lose things. Get over it. Hold your friends close. Be brave and you’ll have the time of your life.”
As for the stars partnership with Keds, she’s actually designing a line of 9 sneakers that will hit store shelves in April. That totally falls into the whole line of being unique and creative! So while Taylor’s love life is in the dumpster, at least we can solidly confirm that her career is still soaring!
