Celeb Teen Laundry's Three Ways To Stop Bullying

How does one deal with bullies? How does one deal with those kids at school who treat you like you’re nothing? How does one handle the daily onslaught of anger, insults, and exclusion? Celeb Teen Laundry is bringing you three ways to handle those nasty, nasty bullies and stop them from tormenting you once and for all.

1 – Know where their anger comes from – Most bullies do what they do out of inherent anger and insecurity. They see you as a soft target to take their issues out on. Know this, acknowledge this, and realize that there’s nothing wrong with you – there’s something wrong with them. Their bullying comes from a dark place.

2 – Know that they are not allowed to hurt you – Currently, bullying is one of the most important issues in the USA. Your voice isn’t silenced anymore. You’re not a silent victim in the crowd. Speak up about the bullying. Talk to someone you can confide in such as a teacher, a parent, or even a counselor. It is important that others are made aware of this issue and that they’re able to assist you in every which way possible. The bully is NOT allowed to hurt you, so don’t allow him/her to!

3 – Do not fight back – If you get into a fight with the bully, it is wise to rather walk away from the situation and report him/her, in confidence, to a school official. Fighting back will only get you into trouble. Also, you don’t want to lower yourself to the bully’s level. The bully will, in all probability, provoke you at every chance he/she gets, but don’t fall for this. This is exactly what the bully wants. He/she wants you to react in such a way that he/she is able to ridicule you. Do not allow them to get to you.

If the bullying reaches an unbearable level, intervention will be required, so do what you have to do in order to make the bullying stop. Do not be afraid. Do not be terrorized. This is your life and no one is allowed to make it any less important.

I completely disagree with the last one, if a bully starts to fight you then you obviously fight back; you don’t want them to get the feeling that it’s alright to do that to you.

Don’t let adults dismiss you, either.
